FBA Profit & ROI Calculator
Work out your real profit, margin and ROI on any Amazon FBA product.
What is the FBA Profit & ROI Calculator?
This calculator works out your real per-unit profit, profit margin and return on investment (ROI) for a product you sell through Amazon FBA. You enter your own product cost, selling price and fees — nothing is hardcoded or looked up from an API, so it never goes out of date, and it works for any marketplace or category.
How to use it
- Enter your product cost (what you pay to acquire or manufacture one unit).
- Enter the price you plan to sell it for on Amazon.
- Enter Amazon's referral fee percentage for your category (usually 8–17%, check your category's current rate in Seller Central) and your FBA fulfillment fee for that size/weight tier (also in Seller Central under FBA fee estimates).
- Add any other per-unit costs — inbound shipping to Amazon's warehouse, prep/labeling, storage, or advertising allocated per unit.
The calculator instantly shows your net profit per unit, profit margin (profit as a % of selling price), ROI (profit as a % of your product cost — the number that matters most when comparing where to put your capital), and total fees deducted.
Why we don't hardcode Amazon's fees
Amazon's referral fee percentages and FBA fulfillment fee tables change periodically and vary by category, size tier and marketplace. Rather than embedding a fee table that would quietly go stale, this tool asks for your own numbers pulled from your current Seller Central account or the official Amazon seller fee schedule — so the math stays accurate no matter when fees change.
