What is the QR Code Generator?

This tool converts any text — a website link, a Wi-Fi password, a plain message — into a scannable QR code image that you can download as a PNG. QR codes are read by smartphone cameras and dedicated scanner apps, making them useful for printed materials, business cards, posters and packaging.

How to use it

  1. Type or paste the text or link you want to encode.
  2. Choose an error-correction level: higher levels make the code more resistant to smudges or partial damage, at the cost of a slightly denser pattern.
  3. Pick an output size, click Generate QR Code, then Download PNG.

Error correction works by adding redundant data to the code so a scanner can still read it even if part of the image is obscured or poorly printed; Medium is a sensible default for screens, while High suits stickers or labels that might get scuffed. The code is drawn directly onto an HTML canvas in your browser using open-source encoding logic, so nothing you type is sent anywhere. Because it works entirely offline, you can safely generate QR codes for private information like an internal Wi-Fi password or a temporary access link without it ever leaving your device.
